Ruthven Barracks, Scotland
Our first full day in Scotland could not have been more wonderful. We had sunny, mid 70s weather and there seemed to be no tourists (except us!). The landscape is beautiful and the green here is like no other. We are bursting with stories (the sleeper train :), loch ness, driving on the left!!, and more) but we are off today for Oban.
And today we surprised sam with.... Her birthday!! Our six year old is brimming with sunshine ( even though our weather is more Scottish today).

Happy Birthday Samantha! I can't believe you are SIX-years-old. You are getting so big, pretty soon you are going to have 5 younger cousins who you will get to help take care of.
