We got to Paris yesterday!!! :) we had quite an adventure on the TGV. We somehow ended up with much more stuff then when we came, making it quite squishy. We all had to hurry onto the train, and then there Was so much baggage ours wouldn't all fit on the rack! So we had to have a big suitcase by our feet, though mostly under Samantha's. The train was very smooth, until you started walking around or doing homework. It was really fun. We got here to Paris in 3 hours! Once we got to Paris, we had to take the metro to our apartment. Not fun with all of the bags!!! At least we didn't leave anyone behind. We had to take 2 or 3 trains just to get to our apartment. Luckily the metro station's nearby. After we got to our apartment( which is on the 5th floor at the back of a courtyard-there's like at least a 100 steps to get to the apartment!!) Later, we were going to someone's house and had to take the metro. 3 different lines to take! the first one went just fine, but then, when we were looking for where we were going on a map in the metro when we were on the second train, we realized that we were going the wrong way!! So we got off at the next stop, planning to just go and get on the train going the other way. But it was rush hour, and so there was soo many people, we couldn't fit onto the next train. We couldn't even get on! so we had to wait for the second train, which was soooo crowded that we were squished up against other people. But we made it in the end. Lucky we didn't have baggage that time! It's going to be an adventure Every time we go on the metro.
