Louvre

On Monday we went to the Louvre, the most famous museum in the world. It was really amazing, but you can't be in there for more than a couple of hours. We went and saw the famous Mona Lisa painting, and the ancient Greek statue Venus de Milo, made in 300 BC. It was also cool for me to see the original Hammurabi's Code, the first set of laws from Mesopotamia because my class spent a lot of time studying it this year in school.
The louvre used to be a palace, and it is VERY huge. We didn't get to see all of the museum, but what we saw was enough, a good experience.

This is the Venus of Arles statue. When we were in southern France we went to a different museum and saw a replica of it, and were excited to see the original.
