Weekend in Paris

Our first weekend in Paris, and we've already seen more than one amazing sight. On Saturday, we went to the Sacre Cœur, just a 15 minute walk from our apartment. The Sacre Cœur was very amazing!!! :) there isn't much more to say. Tall, domed roof… Amazing statues… Singing... :) After that, from a suggestion by Amy, we went to Rose Bakery, where we enjoyed a great meal.

And then on Sunday we went to the Notre Dame de Paris, the most famous gothic church in Paris. it was very huge, with vaulted ceilings, tall towers, and amazing pillars. there was a service going on while we were there, and it was really neat to be able to sit in on some of it, just like we belonged. After that on Sunday we went to a famous falafel place, Las de Falafel. it was really good. We walked around the old part of Paris, which i liked because there were small streets.
it has a been a very great first weekend in Paris, even though it isn't the weekend anymore and we have seen many more sights that we will post about later…
